Duties:
- conducting teaching activities with the possibility of developing research activities, in cooperation with the interdisciplinary environment of the SWPS University and the Faculty of Design, where the Psychology and Computer Science major is taught
- conducting didactic classes in the field of psychology in one or two areas from the list: psychology of behavior change, design and evaluation of the effectiveness of psychological interventions/interventions with the use of new technologies (clinical RCTs), methodology of clinical research with the use of new technologies, psychological interactions with the use of new technologies (so-called E-health, Internet interventions); at the premises of the Faculty of Design in Warsaw, Poland
- engaging in relationship building with students
- building relationships within the University and with the socio-economic environment
- engaging in organizational activities of the Department and the University
- publishing in reputable scientific journals and publications
- obtaining external funds for conducting scientific research
Requirements:
- doctoral degree in social sciences (discipline: psychology) (as of September 30, 2025 at the latest).
- teaching experience in one of the following areas: health psychology, methodology, use of new technologies in psychology (e.g., E-health, psychological interventions/interventions delivered through new technologies such as apps, chatbots, VR) or related
- interest in the use of new technologies in psychology and willingness to improve his/her competence in this area in order to teach in this area
- scientific achievements in the field of psychology documented by publications indexed in international databases, including those appearing in journals with impact factor and included in the list of scientific journals and peer-reviewed materials from international conferences of the MEN
- willingness to work in an interdisciplinary environment at SWPS University
- motivation and a plan for academic development
- knowledge of English on at least B2 level
- readiness to teach also on weekends
- declaration of employment at the SWPS University as the primary place of work within the meaning of Article 120 of the Act of July 20, 2018. Law on Higher Education and Science (i.e., Journal of Laws of 2020, item 85)
Nice to have:
