We place scientific and technical excellence at the service of education, research, and innovation.
As part of the European LIBFISH project, which aims to reduce the ecological impact of fishing through breakthrough technologies like hydrofoils and electronic piloting, we are recruiting a post-doctoral researcher within our Department of Automatic Control, Production Systems, and IT (DAPI).
In collaboration with an international consortium including Spanish, Irish, and Canadian partners, you will understand the fine dynamics of the trawl to define model reduction methodologies. You will create a real-time dynamic model of the assembly consisting of the trawler and the fishing gear, then develop a reference simulator using Matlab or Python. You will thus ensure the essential link between high-resolution simulations and the needs of control algorithm designers.
