Founded in 1995, Aschaffenburg University of Applied Sciences is a dynamic and family-friendly university in the Bavarian Lower Main region with currently over 4,000 students. We foster a personal and lively culture of learning and discussion on an equal footing. The campus in Aschaffenburg serves as a central meeting place and is complemented by the Miltenberg learning centre. We are characterised by openness, equality, high quality and excellent performance in teaching, research, transfer and continuing education.
Our mission statement, which is largely based on shared values, forms the backdrop to all our activities. We attach great importance to providing excellent study conditions. We offer interdisciplinary, innovative and practical degree programmes in the fields of engineering, computer science, economics, law, real estate, health and social sciences. These programmes prepare students optimally for a successful career. Thanks to our Sustainable Intelligent Systems Doctoral Centre, we offer academic and practical training from bachelor's to doctoral level.
Applied research and knowledge and technology transfer are particular strengths of TH Aschaffenburg. We see ourselves as a centre of innovation in the Frankfurt-Rhine-Main metropolitan region, with the Centre for Scientific Services and Transfer in Obernburg and the Technology Transfer Centre for Sustainable Energies in Alzenau.
Practical orientation and internationality are part of our daily routine. We cooperate with companies and scientific institutions in Germany and abroad and promote young scientists. We maintain worldwide exchanges with partner universities and make an important contribution to overcoming social and global challenges of the present and future.
