Noroff

Noroff is an educational institution made from a strong digital DNA. We design and develop our own study programs together with relevant industry partners, thus accommodating the future's demand. We strive to provide our students with an education, which is adapted to a digital and technological dominated future. Our students will obtain the necessary education and resources to contribute to the ever-changing digital market.

History and future plans

Noroff started as a training and consulting company in 1987. We gradually evolved into a popular vocational school and university college for students interested in communication and digital fields of education. The main focus for Noroff is to educate our students to a labor market in need of expertise in IT and digital areas.

In the summer of 2016, we opened a brand-new campus in Oslo. This brings us even closer to professional communities, creating employment opportunities for our students.

Noroff Education

Noroff consists of three different study option;

Noroff University College offers bachelor programs in Digital Forensics, and Interactive Media for Games and Animation. It is located in Kristiansand, and planning to expand to our new campus in Oslo.

Noroff Vocational School provides an alternative or supplement to college and university education. The vocational school campuses are located in Oslo, Bergen, Kristiansand and Stavanger.

Noroff Online Studies offers complete study programs on the web with close teacher/lecturer supervision, video lessons, blogs and lectures with tips from professionals in the industry.

Study programs abroad

In addition to our own University College, Noroff also collaborate with other higher educational institutions abroad. Our partners include:

• Teesside University in England
• University of South Wales in Wales
• AFDA Film School in South Africa
• Deakin University in Australia

These partnerships are what we refer to as the 2+1 = Bachelor degree arrangement. It provides Noroff students the opportunity to build on their two-year vocational study program to a Bachelor's Degree with one year abroad.
