The University of Nottingham, School of Law is looking to recruit Assistant Professors to join our intellectually engaging and collegial academic environment.  If you are committed to inspiring and engaging students and to developing and conducting innovative, original research and scholarship of national and/or international standing, we want to hear from you. 

We are looking for candidates who can contribute to our undergraduate teaching in one of the following core modules:

  • Introduction to Law and Legal Theory 
  • Law of Contract 
  • Public Law 
  • Foundations of Tort 
  • Land Law 
  • Criminal Law 
  • Law of Trusts

and can lead or contribute to optional undergraduate and postgraduate modules in one of the following specialist areas:

  • Advanced Tort 
  • Family and/or Child Law 
  • Law and Technology (including robotics, privacy & data protection, regulation) 
  • Intellectual Property Law 
  • Company and/or Insolvency Law 
  • International Sale of Goods 
  • Healthcare and/or Mental Health Law 
  • Restitution Law and Economics 
  • Personal Property
