Instructor in Health Promotion & Behavior

POSITION SUMMARY

The Department of Health Promotion & Behavior (HPB) invites applications for a non‑tenure track Instructor position. This is a 9‑month academic year appointment (with opportunity for summer teaching) beginning August 1, 2026

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree in health promotion, public health, health communication, or a related discipline prior to August 1, 2026 (preference will be given to candidates with a completed doctoral degree)
• Demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching.
• Ability to integrate emerging technology into classroom instruction

RESPONSIBILITIES

• 100% instructional position, primarily teaching undergraduate courses in HPB Teach in areas such as:
• Program Planning & Evaluation E‑Portfolio Creation
• Technical Writing for Public Health
• Community Health & Wellness Health Disparities
