Your Responsibilities

  • Research in bioinformatics; independent research and collaborative projects as member of the Computational Pharmacology team in the framework of the Field of Excellence BioHealth
  • Development of algorithms in mass spectrometry (MS)-based lipidomics
  • Development of high-throughput methods for analyzing MS fragmentation patterns to elucidate the structures of molecules
  • Identification of structures by analyzing chromatographic elution profiles of complex molecules
  • Contribution to scientific publications

Your Profile

  • Completed PhD in natural sciences, informatics, or related field
  • Excellent skills in English
  • Practical knowledge in programming, as well as data handling and evaluation
  • Experience in the development of algorithms in the fields of mass spectrometry and lipidomics
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Basic programming skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including willingness to work in a team
  • Good skills in German (desirable)

We offer an annual gross salary of € 69,060.59 for a fulltime position.
