Job Description :

the African Studies Center is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Professor. One of the orientations of the African Studies Center at UM6P relates to humanities. The candidate should have a solid background in philosophy, anthropology or history.

Criteria of the candidate:

  • PHD in history, philosophy, anthropology, or history.
  • An appropriate scientific background in order to deal with research questions, being able to mobilize the main approaches available in the field.
  • Proven ability to perform multidisciplinary research and contribute to funded research programs.
  • Good English communication skills, both verbal and written are important.
