Postdoctoral Research position: Proteomics and Drug Development.

The Chemical and Biochemical Sciences-Green Process Engineering at the University of Mohammed VI Polytechnic Benguerir Morocco seeks Postdoctoral applicants in Proteomics and Drug Development.

Job/Project Description:

The widespread and indiscriminate use of antibiotics has accelerated the increased prevalence of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) around the globe. Our knowledge of the mechanism associated with drug resistance (e.g., molecular adhesion and invasion) is still incomplete, representing a hurdle to developing new therapeutic strategies. To find novel therapeutic targets of drug-resistant bacteria, in our investigation, we apply OMICS approaches to study the alteration of the proteome and its organization on protein complexes to uncover the associated mechanisms of drug resistance.

To meet our objectives, we have collaborated with colleagues from Canadian, USA, and European universities, and we are equipped with OMICS state-of-the-art technologies.
