As Strategic Partnership Manager in IMEC’s Corporate Strategy Office, you play a key role in managing relations with internal and external stakeholders of imec’s internal deeptech innovation portfolio.

What you will do

As Strategic Partnership Manager in IMEC’s Corporate Strategy Office, you play a key role in managing relations with internal and external stakeholders of imec’s internal deeptech innovation portfolio. You will support the project teams of aspiring projects towards achieving their milestones and organize the report-out of results to imec’s strategic partners. To this end, you will work together with many internal stakeholders including imec’s portfolio management and business development teams. The projects will stretch over the broad imec technology and application spectrum (compute, connectivity, health, automotive, energy,...). The interaction with imec stakeholders of technical, industrial and public authority background will provide a challenging learning environment.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Serve as account manager for a range of public and private stakeholders involved in imec’s internal innovation pipeline.
  • Establish efficient workflows and reporting structures to keep internal and external stakeholders informed on key technical, operational, and business milestones.
  • Consolidate project progress into audit-proof data systems for accurate external reporting.
  • Drive urgency and transparency across internal innovation projects by coordinating follow-ups and overseeing corporate reporting.
  • Ensure project success by managing valorization milestones in collaboration with portfolio and business development teams.
  • Support project teams throughout the innovation lifecycle by building and managing funding partnerships with companies and universities.
  • Gain deep insight into imec’s mission, strategy, business focus, product lines, organizational structure, and key decision-makers.

Who you are

  • You are a technology enthusiast and holder of a degree in sciences, engineering or business engineering with ≥5 years experience in the industry of advanced semiconductor technology development, integration and realization of semiconductor-based devices.
  • You have a keen interest in innovation management and driving technology to impact.
  • You get energy from working with innovative teams and you can drive them to higher performance through a constructive and participative approach.
  • Your enthusiasm stimulates people to pursue high-impact, high-gain research projects.
  • You have strong English communication, presentation and leadership skills.

  • You can manage a wide variety of technical topics simultaneously and are diligent in project follow-up and report-out.
