Description of the research activity:
The research project involves the development, refinement, and empirical validation of a model of exaptive innovation—based on the creative recombination of existing solutions to solve new problems—within the context of circular innovation. This research has two main objectives. 1: Development and validation of an exaptive innovation model within the context of the circular economy. 2: Development and application of this innovation model within the context of corporate strategic innovation. Method: The research project involves a) the application of abduction, deduction, and induction; b) the analysis of case studies; c) the design and execution of experiments to validate specific hypotheses. The position requires the active and independent conduct of all research activities, including the publication and dissemination of results at both the international and local levels.
