Description of the research activity:
The research focus on applying Large Language Models (LLMs) to build automated systems that detect security flaws in source code or binaries, leveraging LLMs to uncover vulnerabilities, to generate detailed vulnerability reports and to suggest effective remediation strategies. The researcher will explore how LLMs can assist in creating automated patching systems to fix vulnerabilities efficiently. Beyond detection and mitigation, they might analyze exploit patterns and threats using real-world attack data to enhance software resilience.
