The SigCom research group carries out research activities in the areas of signal processing for wireless communication systems including satellite communications and radar systems and is currently expanding its research activities in exploring several emerging use cases of next generation wireless communications systems. The University of Luxembourg is seeking to hire a highly motivated and an outstanding engineer in the area of Software Satellite Simulation using Julia Programming Language for its Interdisciplinary Centre of Security and Trust (SnT), within the Signal Processing and Communications (SigCom) research group, led by Prof. Björn Ottersten and Prof. Symeon Chatzinotas.

Your Role...
As a Research & Development Specialist in Software Satellite Simulation, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing an end-to-end SW simulator in Julia programming language, implementing the physical (PHY) layer of satellite communication systems. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and researchers to push the boundaries of what is possible with satellite communications.

Your Profile...
The candidate should possess at least a MSc degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or affine, with a proven record of accomplishment in the area of software simulation for communications systems. PhDs are also welcome.
