At the Institute of Chemical, Environmental and Bioscience Engineering, in the Research Group for Process systems engineering for sustainable resources TU Wien is offering a position as university assistant (prae-doc) limited until the September 30th, 2025 or at the latest until the duration of leave of absence for 35 hours/week. Expected start: October 2024. In this position you will investigate the potential of streamlining calculations (i.e., creating proxies) for one or more of the following:
You will be integrated in our research groups and collaborate with PhD students for incorporating the developed concepts, methods, models and tools in applications related with biorefineries and/or carbon capture storage and utilization.
Entry level salary is determined by the pay grade B1 of the Austrian collective agreement for university staff. This is a minimum of currently EUR 3,131.50/month gross, 14 times/year for 35 hours/week. Relevant working experiences may increase the monthly income.
