The School of Management is looking for highly qualified international candidates currently holding an equivalent academic position (associate professorship) at a non-Italian university over at least the past three years or who satisfy the requirements for participating in the Italian National Scientific Qualification process for an associate professorship.

The School of Management consists of the Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering and the MIP Graduate School of Business.
The Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering (DIG) carries out research and teaching in these three main areas. Ever since DIG was founded, our research has been defined by a strong commitment to cutting-edge topics within the international scientific debate and an awareness of the demands of industry and services. At DIG, our research has the aim of producing excellent science in these fields through the Department’s distinctive research approach involving multi-disciplinarity, a wide-ranging set of methodologies and by drawing on our extensive networks. At the same time, our research is focused on helping to create a better and more inclusive society and to improve the well-being of people through better and safer products, services, workplace and environment. The MIP Graduate School of Business was founded in 1979 as a Consortium between the Politecnico di Milano and several Italian institutions and leading public and private industrial groups. Today, it is a not-for-profit consortium limited company. In 2007, the School of Management was accredited by EQUIS and joined the circle of 160 leading business schools accredited by EFMD. After first joining the Financial Times’ rankings of best European Business Schools in 2009, the School of Management received confirmation in 2016 of the quality of its educational offer, with its 42th place in the FT ranking. In 2013, the School received the prestigious international accreditation from AMBA (Association of MBAs). Since 2014, the School has been a member of UniCON (International University Consortium for Executive Education), PRME (Principles for Responsible Management Education) and Cladea (Latin American Council of Management Schools).

Salaries at Politecnico di Milano are set in accordance with the salary system for Italian public universities, with additional performance-related pay awarded by the MIP Graduate School of Business.
