Job Description :

UM6P is seeking two dynamic and highly motivated researchers to join our R&D team within the Research Committee to join our team in Canada. The successful candidates will engage in innovative research projects, contribute to the development of new technologies, and collaborate with academic and industry partners. This opportunity will enable the candidate to work in a stimulating environment and make a significant impact in the field of research and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-quality research in specified areas of R&D, aligned with the strategic goals of UM6P.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including faculty members, industry partners, and other researchers.
• Prepare and present research findings at conferences, workshops, and in peer-reviewed journals.
• Contribute to the writing of grant proposals and securing funding for research projects.
• Mentor and supervise junior researchers and graduate students.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in the field and integrate new knowledge into research projects.
• Participate in the development of intellectual property and technology transfer initiatives.

Criteria of the candidate:

• A Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Physical Sciences, Chemistry, Energy or related disciplines).
• Proven track record of research excellence, demonstrated through publications and conference presentations.
• Up to 10 years experience in developing and managing research projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in using research tools and software relevant to the field of study.
• Experience in securing research funding and managing budgets is an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and supervise junior researchers and students.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Postdoctoral experience or equivalent in a research-intensive environment.
• Experience in collaborating with industry partners.
