Junior Professorship I Professorship I Bio-& Food Technology and Nutrition


Your duties

  • Teaching, research, supervision, and examination activities in the field of Food Technology and Food Enineering
  • Active participation in the further development and expansion of our German and English-language study and performance offerings
  • Supervision of academic papers, theses and student projects
  • Research and publication activities
  • Acquisition of research and practical projects
  • Participation in quality assurance and university processes
  • Maintaining contacts with corporate practices and expanding our cooperation network

Your profile

  • Doctoral degree in the specified field or a similar academic qualification in the field of Food Technology, Food Science, Food Engineering, Nutrition or in related disciplines
  • Experience in teaching, research and professional experience are advantageous
  • International orientation as well as pronounced didactic and communicative skills
  • Strong affinity for (online) teaching and interest in the development of new forms of learning
  • Excellent German and English language skills
  • Enjoyment of working with students as well as enthusiasm for research topics
  • Team spirit, customer service orientation and results orientation

  • The award of a professorship is a process based on expert opinions that is distinct from the conclusion of a service contract. It presupposes due evidence of achievements in teaching, research and professional working
