Job description

The tasks include research and teaching. Research direction: electrical drive trains with focus on grease lubricated rolling bearings. You will participate in the implementation of courses in topics such as machine dynamics, tribology, and machine design.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree 
  • A master’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
  • Research experience with mechanical components (rolling bearings) and systems
  • Knowledge of greases: their rheology and properties
  • Industrial experience
  • Teaching ability

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience of using large synchrotron facilities
  • Experience, great interest in experimental research, and machine design
  • Collaborative abilities
  • Independence

  • Performance-oriented
  • Knowledge of diversity and equal opportunity issues, with specific focus on gender equality

About the employment

The employment is valid until further notice (permanent post) according to agreement.
The employment begins with a six-month probationary period.
