Postdoctoral Research Associate - ROBOPRENEUR

Position Overview:

The ROBOPRENEUR project, an initiative at the emerging intersection of robotics, AI, and blockchain technology, is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to pioneering work developing autonomous robots capable of economic self-sufficiency. The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of researchers, contributing to cutting-edge research that pushes the boundaries of robotics, economic autonomy, and AI-driven creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and Development: Lead and contribute to the ongoing development of the ROBOPRENEUR project, including enhancements to its autonomous decision-making, AI-driven creative processes, and blockchain-based economic transactions.
• Robotics Integration: Design and implement advanced algorithms that enable robots to autonomously generate, market, and sell their own labor. Refine the integration of robotics with blockchain technology to ensure secure and efficient economic autonomy.
• Collaboration and Mentorship: Collaborate with faculty, graduate students, and other researchers in the department to advance the project’s objectives. Provide mentorship and guidance to graduate students involved in related research.
• Publication and Dissemination: Produce high-quality research publications and present findings at international conferences. Contribute to the dissemination of the project’s outcomes through academic and industry channels.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong background in blockchain-based technology.
• Experience with decentralized finance.
• Proven track record of high-quality research publications in relevant fields.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with real-world robot platforms and autonomous systems.
• Familiarity with Ethereum smart contracts.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, and Solidity.
