Description of the research activity:

The research project is part of a larger European Social Fund Plus project aimed at promoting scientific research to support the economic and social development of South Tyrol (project code: ESF2_f3_0005). The first part of the research will be a survey about the state of the art of the theories and practices that currently deal with the introduction of XR and AI in domestic space. This part of the research will be based on gathering existing literature, on conducting a series of interviews with experts in the field, and on organizing an online seminar. The second part of the research will consist of a series of practical experiments of futurable domestic scenarios through the use of XR and AI technologies. The expected outcome of the research is at least one publication on a scientific journal.
