Description of the research activity:
Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers in men. Although the prognosis is generally favorable, its treatment is challenging in cases of metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC), where it is still difficult to predict the outcome of treatment and individualize its application. The research activity will have the goal of investigating whether and how artificial intelligence through radiomics can help in predicting the outcome of radionuclide therapy for mCRPC prior to its administration and in identifying which radiomic features are the best predictors of outcome and survival.
