Ca’ Foscari is looking for a researcher in the area of Electronic Engineering, capable of inspiring students to become game-changers in their own fields and to make a genuine difference in the world.
The candidate will have to carry out teaching activities within the disciplines relevant to the academic discipline ‘Electronic Engineering’ ‘(e.g. Fondamenti di elettronica’ and ‘Circuiti e misure elettroniche) and with the didactic needs of the Department.
The research activity will be focused on the study and engineering of materials and components for microelectronics and sensors useful in various fields of application. The activity should also include performance measurement, characterization and analytical and mathematical modeling of the components. These topics fall into research areas that are compatible with the guidelines of the strategic plan of the University and of the development plan of the research activity will be focused on the study Department of Molecular Sciences and Nanosystems.
The position is at the Department of Molecular Sciences and Nanosystems. The Department aims to stimulate research development and scientific education and is characterized by its research in innovative fields. The Department also interacts with local manufacturing firms and businesses, given the importance of its research on sustainability themes. The education focuses on both established research areas and more innovative ones like renewable energy sources, green chemistry, nanotechnologies and biotechnologies.
The educational pathways offered by the Department are designed to implement the strong interaction between the university and the job market, using a blend of traditional methods and new Lifelong Learning projects (LLP).
