Postdoc (f/m/x) – Molecular plant adaptation
Institute for Plant Sciences | CEPLAS
We are one of the largest and oldest universities in Europe and one of the most important employers in our region. Our broad range of subjects, the dynamic development of our main research areas and our central location in Cologne make us attractive for students and researchers from around the world. We offer a wide range of career opportunities in science, technology, and administration.
The ‘Ecological Plant Genomics’ group at the Institute for Plant Sciences and the Cluster of Excellence on Plant Sciences (CEPLAS) studies the evolution and adaptation of plants. We work on the intersection between ecology and molecular biology to understand how plants can adapt to changing environments. Our main model is currently amaranth, but we also work with heterologous systems. Click here for more information www.cropevolution.org. The selected candidate will take a leading role in the molecular aspects of our research, studying functional changes of evolutionary relevance.
